A wonderful example of the fume style. Doesn’t fall into the trap of overdoing the oak use, resulting in a wine that is perfectly balanced and seamlessly structured. The oak sits comfortably within the fruit. Nice touch of lemon meringue with a dollop of cream on the palate. A keen acidity sustains a long finish. First-rate example of this distinctive style.
