Castle Rock Estate Diletti Riesling 2023

Okay, Diletti flexes his considerable winemaking skills with this Porongurup riesling. It was barrel fermented and then received extended lees contact, all designed to build texture into a naturally fine and linear variety. You can only do this if you have the fruit and that was certainly the case in 2023. The spicy characters of the region have given way to more savoury minerally notes while that slightly creamy stone fruit palate has so much to offer. It’s different. Viva la Difference!
