Peterkin has made a mighty good sparkling chenin with this 2021 vintage. For me, the maturation on lees is the key, as it balances the higher natural varietal acidity creating a wine of texture and richness while losing nothing of the vibrant primary fruit characters of the variety. Distinctive Granny Smith and citrus tang with a crunchy finish.
