Forest Hill Block 1 Riesling 2023

Lightly perfumed and delightful aromas of lime and light talc. It was a very good year, and it was a late season allowing the fruit to build up easily. It’s stainless steel fermented but has an extended time on lees. The palate is the key. It’s powerful with texture and talcy threads with liberal spices. It has a slightly limey saline finish, It’s a small product wine. Very sea-spray-like. These are from the original plantings in 1965.
