La Kooki Las Piedras Tempranillo 2021

Oh gosh, I do love this wine. It’s largely tempranillo with a small amount of cabernet adding structure. A hands-on approach has been adopted with handpicking, hand plunging and wild yeasts. It’s bright and fruity with vibrant red fruit characters emerging on the nose and palate. Has that subtle black fruit underlay with touches of savouriness and a little lift of tannin to complete.
