The thing with traminer, is that if you overplay your hand it dominates to the detriment of other varieties. In this case the balance of the two varieties is spot on with just a little of the varietal lychee and spicy characters of the traminer lurking in the background. As it opens up some nice tropical notes emerge with a spicy minerally acidity controlling to the finish.
