Alkoomi Jarrah Shiraz 2017

This was quite a cool season in Frankland River, but it also produced some very good wines, such as this shiraz. Sweet dark chocolate over dark plum with a peppery dried herb influence emerges immediately on the nose. Then the smooth velvety palate kicks in with its plush fruit and well-integrated tannin and oak. It's an elegant wine of great poise.
