Aravina Estate Wildwood Ridge Reserve cabernet sauvignon 2022

Such a balanced and precisely poised cabernet from this very good red wine vintage. Comes off 35-year-old vines. It’s deeply intense, carrying all the blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and ripe plummy characters you expect. But then dig deeper and there’s the black olive, bay leaf, and minerally cracked seashell complexity. Lovely mouthfeel and a very long finish. Class wine.
