Arlewood Witchcliffe chardonnay 2022

This is a super chardonnay that comes from that distinctly cooler region at Witchcliffe, south of Margaret River town. Handpicked and whole bunch pressed before fermentation in a combination of 30% new and one- and three-year-old French oak. Regular lees stirring has developed the textural feel in the mid palate. It was wild yeast fermented and just 20% through malo has provided a balancing richness while not compromising the fine elegant lift.
