Sandalford Prendiville Reserve Shiraz 2020

This is a real powerhouse shiraz from this very good vintage in Margaret River. A basically traditional winemaking approach was adopted before the wine was matured in oak. Powerful aromas of coffee and dark plum with a licorice mocha and spicy thing happening. The palate is super concentrated with rich dark fruit flavours lifted with a little roasted coffee, mocha and sage bush. The tannins are firm and the oak substantial to support.
