Mandoon Old Vine Shiraz 2022

A vintage which started out very hot but then settled into a normal pattern, finishing up producing some high-class red wines. This, from old Swan Valley vines, is an example. Handpicked and then fermented in open fermenters before pressing to French oak. The softness and elegance of the Valley is on full view here. Brilliant and vibrant colours and a wonderfully expressive supple palate supported by fine powdery tannins.
