Faber Vineyard Verdelho 2017

Wow. A seven-year-old verdelho from this slightly cooler but initially wet year, that in the end suited verdelho perfectly. It’s remarkably only just started to show a little toasty development, but it still has vibrant tropical primary fruit characters. All tank fermented, which shows how this variety can do its stuff without oak. Ah, Swan valley verdelho. A real treat.
