Woody Nook Limited Release Fume Blanc 2022

This has been one of the best and most distinctive wines Woody Nook make and I am a big fan. It's sauvignon blanc fermented in oak with wild yeasts, with monthly lees stirring over seven months. The technique builds on the excellent fruit intensity creating a wine of richness and texture while retaining that natural fruit lift of the savvy. Lemony with a slightly cracked seashell minerality.
