Nelson gets the fruit for this excellent syrah style from Frankland River. Makes sense too. This is a thoroughly beautiful example of the elegant stylish wines coming from Frankland River these days. This is a small production wine highlighting the best of the region. A minimalist approach has allowed for a wine that appears to express its origins. The gravelly grainy feel on the palate is a feature.
