Woody Nook Single Vineyard Bdx 2021

A Bordeaux blend using largely cabernet sauvignon with merlot and cabernet franc. Cabernet provides the power and linear structure while the merlot adds palate filling and the franc that little lift of perfumed red fruit on the nose. Such a poised and well-balanced wine with bright red fruits working with slightly grainy sinewy tannins and a nice oak touch. Everything just seems to fit where it should here.
