St Johns Wine The Terraces Optimus Shiraz 2021

This is a first-rate wine, and clearly one of the best yet under this label. Concentrated aromas of varietal black cherry and blackberry with rich dark plum. A little mocha and cocoa merges. The palate is generous and lavishly presented with spicy dark fruits supported by ripe tannins and a liberal amount of oak. Shows what can be done in the Blackwood Valey.
