An excellent cabernet which comes from the oldest vines on the property. This is a firm and still tightly framed cabernet, but the warmth and depth of fruit is excellent, revealing great power and poise. Bay leaf and subtle black olive merge with intense blackcurrant and a slight oyster shell minerality. Structured and firm through the palate but the tannins are fine and the oak balanced.
