Montague Estate Reserve Chardonnay 2023

Rich and highly textured chardonnay. The colour is golden yellow. The nose is something else. Lemon curd, quince and subtle spices with a slight struck match leesy complexity. Then the palate delivers with a fine linear mouth feel that starts with a richer butterscotch and cashew character, then lets the limestone chalky acid and slightly savouriness finish it. Excellent wine.
